4th Annual Outdoor Times Hunting & Fishing Show The 4th Annual Outdoor Times Hunting & Fishing Show will be held at the Blair County Convention Center February 15th-17th. Hours of the show are Noon-8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday. The show will feature hundreds of exhibits, demonstrations, seminars, a kids trout fishing pond, Central Pennsylvania Labrador Association Dog Shows, archery shooting, and air pistol shooting. Admission to the show is $5/adult and children ages 12 & under are admitted for free. Admission includes an entry into a drawing for a Honda ATV valued at $10,000. Batfest 2008 Lincoln Caverns will host their second annual Batfest February 16th from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The event will feature cavern tours (temperature inside cavern is 52 degrees), crafts, games, bat observation viewings, and workshops. Admission is $16/adult and $12.50/child. A pizza lunch is also included in the price of admission. Pre-registration is required. Wednesday, February 20th Bellefonte & the Early Air Mail 7:00 p.m. Centre Furnace Mansion The presentation will be given by Kitty Wunderly and will cover the history of Bellefonte's air mail service.
Wednesday, February 20th Preview of "Die Fledermaus" 8:00 p.m. The Playhouse Theatre The performance of Strauss' comic operetta is a joint performance between the Penn State School of Music & the Penn State School of Theatre. Tickets to the preview performance are $10.

Atlas Thon Team The Atlas Thon Team was founded in 2005 by a group of Penn State students living in Atherton Hall. The group's primary goal is to raise money for Penn State's Dance Marathon. Last year, Atlas Thon raised over $86,000, the highest amount of money raised by an independent team (not affiliated with a Greek organization).
