The section of Pollock Road near Old Main on the University Park campus will permanently close to through traffic and become a pedestrian-only zone beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 17. The gates installed at each end of the area will be lowered and locked down 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Penn State’s chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority has been suspended through the 2022 spring semester, according to Penn State spokesperson Lisa Powers.

The Zeta Psi fraternity chapter at Penn State has been suspended through the spring of 2022 following an investigation into hazing allegations. The fraternity’s national organization has also revoked the chapter’s charter.
