Bill Pickle’s Tap Room Undergoing Renovations, Will Reopen in June

Bill Pickle’s Tap Room, 106 S. Allen St. in State College, is temporarily closed while undergoing renovations, management confirmed to Onward State. The bar is expected to reopen in June.

“Our goal is to maintain the essence of what makes Pickle’s special while introducing some improvements that will enhance comfort, ambiance, and service for our friends and visitors,” manager Brittany Mele told Onward State. “We’re refinishing the floors, adding a fresh coat of paint, and most notably — launching our BBQ menu!”

“BBQ is a fan favorite comfort food with timeless appeal, and our talented culinary team thought it would be the perfect addition to the Pickles experience,” Mele said of the cuisine, which has been teased on the bar’s Instagram page. “It’s the kind of food that brings people together and creates a sense of nostalgia and relaxation, especially when enjoyed in the company of friends and family.”

Pickle’s will be open Tuesday through Sunday when business resumes, though exact hours are yet to be determined.
