A veteran of the Centre County hospitality industry has joined a local hotel and restaurant management company.
Jenn Brooks-Stahl recently became corporate sales and marketing director for Hospitality Asset Management Company.
“We are proud of our company’s growth, particularly in the Centre Region,” Edward Tubbs, HAMCO CEO, said. “Bringing on a seasoned professional such as Jenn Brooks-Stahl to lead our sales and marketing efforts was a natural next step.”
Brooks-Stahl has worked in the hospitality community for 30 years, most recently serving as the general manager of the Wyndham Garden in Boalsburg. She is currently chair of the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau, treasurer for the Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance, and the chair of the Keystone Chapter for the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association.
She is also an advocate for dog rescues throughout the county and is involved locally with Penn State’s School of Hospitality Management, as well as serving as president of the State College Softball Booster Club.
“Jenn means so much to our hospitality community with her pride of the area, for her clients and for her family,” Mandy Stitzer, vice president of operations for HAMCO, said. “We are honored to have her join our company.”
HAMCO manages five hotels, along with associated restaurants, in the Centre Region: Hilton Garden Inn by Hilton featuring Mercato Mio, 1221 E. College Ave.; Days Inn by Wyndham, 1274 N. Atherton St.; Super 8 by Wyndham, 1663 S. Atherton St.; Nittany Budget Motel, 2070 Cato Avenue, and Gigi’s Southern Table, 2080 Cato Avenue; and the recently acquired Hampton Inn by Hilton at 1101 E. College Ave.
also has three new Centre County hotels in the works. Tru by Hilton on Benner Pike in Benner Township is currently under construction, and work is expected to begin this year on a Home2 Suites by Hilton on Shiloh Road in College Township and the yet-to-be named hotel for the long-awaited Bellefonte Waterfront project.
Other HAMCO properties are located in Carlisle, Camp Hill, Clearfield, Indiana and Manheim.
