The 57th Annual Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts is just around the corner, and organizers have released an all new mobile app as well as the traditional program guide to help attendees plan their visits to the event from July 12-16 in State College.
The new app — available in the App Store and on Google Play —allows festival-goers to find artists, food options, live entertainment schedules, activities, places to stay and more. Users can select favorites, create a schedule and add alerts to customize their experiences.
A “My Festival” tab will keep track of what users want to see and do and a map will help them stay oriented and find their locations. The app will be updated in real-time and can provide notifications for things such as time and venue adjustments, weather alerts and special deals.
The traditional printed program guide, published in partnership with Barash Media, also will be available beginning Friday at locations in the State College and Bellefonte areas:

The Arts Festival kicks off with Children and Youth Day on July 12 and continues July 13-16 with the Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition and a wide variety of entertainment in downtown State College and on Penn State’s University Park campus.
