Farmland Preservation Artists (FPA) of Central Pennsylvania will hold an exhibit April 3-30 at Schlow Centre Region Library’s Community Room.

The show, “A Sense of Place,” will feature nearly 60 pieces of art.

FPA was formed in 2005 as a joint enterprise of the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania and the Centre County Farmland Trust. Its mission is to promote the preservation and appreciation of farmland through the visual arts.

FPA artists work in a variety of media and focus on portraying the beauty of the rural landscape, local farms and agricultural products they yield; highlighting farm life, local food markets and economy; illustrating the issues facing farmers that affect our communities; supporting farmland preservation through exhibition and sale of art; and promoting the goals of the cosponsoring organizations, the Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania and Centre County Farmland Trust.
