In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Jana Marie Foundation will host its annual J.A.M. Fest from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza and on the 100 block of Fraser Street.

J.A.M. Fest will feature live music, yoga, meditation, art and more than 15 stations hosted by local businesses and organizations for attendees to enjoy throughout the event aimed to foster well-being.

Caryn Dixon, the Extractors, Jim Colbert, Ken Baxter, and Biscuit Jam will perform 45-minute sets during the length of the festival. Activities and crafts hosted by several organizations will include kazoo-making, adult coloring, face painting, henna tattoos and more.

The Jana Marie Foundation “harnesses the power of creative expression to spark conversation, build connections, and promote mental wellness.” Through programming and uplifting mental health awareness in and around State College, the Jana Marie Foundation has provided resources to promote mental, emotional, and social well-being since its inception in 2012
