St. Mark Lutheran Hosts Free Book Fair and Costless Closet Event

St. Mark Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road in Howard, will host its annual Free Book Fair and Costless Closet event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19.

Hundreds of free books, media, puzzles, games, CDs and DVDS will be available to take, along with gently used and clean clothes. Various foods and baked goods also will be available to purchase during the day. The money goes toward St. Mark’s Social Action Committee, which helps individuals and organizations in need in the community.

Those attending are invited to bring an unexpired food item or monetary donation to help the  St. Mark Food Pantry that serves the region.

St. Mark is accepting book and media donations that are in good condition for the event. No encyclopedias.
