Country music star Blake Shelton and guests will make a stop at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on their Friends & Heroes 2025 tour, the venue announced on Thursday.
The March 22 show will feature Shelton along with fellow country music powerhouses Craig Morgan, Deana Carter and Trace Adkins, as well as Emily Ann Roberts, who was a member of Shelton’s team on season nine of “The Voice.”
Tickets, starting at $49, go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, through Ticketmaster. A presale for Penn State University Park and Altoona students will begin at 10 a.m. on Sept. 12.
Shelton has been a chart-topping performer for more than two decades, starting with his debut No. 1 single “Austin” in 2001 and continuing with hits such as “Boys Round Here,” “God’s Country” and “Nobody But You,” a duet with his wife, Gwen Stefani.
He was also a coach on NBC’s “The Voice,” for its first 23 season, during which he mentored a long list of aspiring singers, including Roberts and State College native Hillary Torchiana, among many others.
Shelton last performed at Penn State in 2017 when he headlined the Happy Valley Jam, the first concert event at Beaver Stadium.
