Every Thursday and Saturday at The Nittany Lion Inn, trombonist Jay T. Vonada performs live from 5 to 7 p.m. for “Jazz at 1855.” His performances feature spectacular jazz, keeping guests entertained while they enjoy their meals and stay at the Inn.

Inside the hotel lies the Lionne Restaurant & 1855 Lounge, where guests and visitors can gather, enjoy meals and listen to live music.

Vonada will be performing Thursday, March 27, and Saturday, March 29, with keyboardist Clay Wulbrecht.

Onward State photographer Darrius Hamilton checked out the night of jazz to capture the ambiance and moments from one of the “Jazz at 1855” performances.

Vonada has performed at many places, including in restaurants and at festivals.

The featured artist and keyboardist, Clay Wulbrecht, serves as the other half of the duo.

The bar at the Nittany Lion Inn was packed for most of the night.

Through the night, Vonada and Wulbrecht played a variety of songs, such as “Alice In Wonderland,” “I Love You,” and “Beautiful Love,” to name a few.
