Rapper and country music singer Jelly Roll will bring “The Beautifully Broken” tour to Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on Oct. 1, the venue announced on Thursday.

He’ll be joined by country singer-songwriters Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay for the 7 p.m. show.

Tickets, starting at $39.50 plus taxes/fees, go on sale at 10 a.m. March 1 through Ticketmaster. A Penn State student ticket presale will begin at 10 a.m. on Feb. 29.

A Tennessee native, Jelly Roll got his start in the 2000s with a series of mixtapes and he began a steady rise through independent albums and collaborations with Lil Wyte and Haystak.

The platinum-selling single “Son of a Sinner” off of 2021’s “Ballads of the Broken” garnered Jelly Roll his first No.1 on the country airplay charts.

“Need a Favor,” the lead single from his 2023 release “Whitsitt Chapel,” went to No. 1 on the country airplay, mainstream rock and hot rock and alternative charts. Its follow-up, the Lainey Wilson collaboration “Save Me,” reached the top 20 on the Billborard Hot 100 and was nominated for a 2024 Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

He won New Artist of the Year at the 2023 CMA Awards and was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2024 Grammys.
