Tribute band “Live Dead and Brothers” is bringing the groove to Tussey Mountain Amphitheatre as a part of the 2024 Happy Valley Music Series.
The band, which plays a combination of jams from the Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers Band, will take the stage at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 11.
The band is made up of legacy and actual members of the extended Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers families, who aim to revive the golden era of 1960s and ’70s music.
“This one-of-a-kind ensemble transcends the boundaries of tribute acts, delivering an authentic, immersive experience that pays homage to the groundbreaking music that defined a generation,” Tussey Mountain wrote in a press release.
General admission tickets and limited gold circle tickets can be purchased here and are non-refundable. The show will go on rain or shine. Ticketholders are also eligible to receive a free sound recording of the concert.
Parking opens at noon with a $10 cash-only fee and gates open at 5 p.m. There is no re-entry into the venue.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating, but may not bring in any outside food or drink except water. The venue will also feature various food trucks and vendors for those in attendance.
