With Penn State’s spring break beginning Saturday, CATA bus routes will see some reduced services, while Penn State faculty and staff commuter permits will be valid in certain parking areas on campus.
Reduced service on CATA community routes means certain trips on the M, NE, NV, RC, RP, UT, VE, VN and WE buses will not operate beginning Saturday (March 5). The affected trips are shaded in gray on the individual service schedules at www.catabus.com.
On the University Park campus there will be no White Loop or Green Link service, while Blue Loop and Red Link service will be available Monday through Friday only with a reduced service schedule. Full service for community and campus routes will resume on Sunday, March 13.
Penn State’s Paratransit Shuttle will be out of service from Saturday, March 5, through Sunday, March 13. Normal service will resume on Monday, March 14, according to Penn State Transportation Services.
Since CATA services are reduced during spring break, faculty/staff commuter permits will be valid will be valid March 7-11 in East, Eisenhower and Nittany Decks as well as Lot Red A and all Orange lots.
