The National Weather Service is warning that dense fog is possible in State College and across central Pennsylvania.
Light winds and clear skies will allow fog to form with visibility reduced below a quarter mile in many locations.
A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9:00 a.m.
Drivers may encounter hazardous driving conditions — particularly in rural valleys. You should slow down, use low beam headlights or fog lights and maintain a safe following distance.
It’s also a good idea to allow yourself some extra time to reach your destination.
