The McAllister Building on the University Park campus was evacuated Thursday afternoon after a water line collapsed, causing significant damage to the first floor and shutdown of electricity, Penn State said.

The building is not expected to reopen until Friday morning at the earliest.

Individuals with classes and other scheduled activities in McAllister Building should check with their instructors or group leaders for alternate locations, Penn State said.
