Kickoff times for three Penn State football games this fall were announced on Thursday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions and Wisconsin will open the 2021 season in Madison with a noon (11 a.m. local) kick on FOX.

Penn State’s home opener against Ball State in Week 2 will kick at 3:30 p.m. on FS1.

The homecoming game on Oct. 23 against Illinois also will get underway at noon, with television arrangements to be determined.

The announcements give the NIttany Lions a start time for each of their first three games and four in total. As previously announced Penn State will host Auburn at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 with the game airing on ABC.

No other kick times have been announced although the Big Ten did release that the Nittany Lions’ road trip to Iowa will air on FOX or FS1. Game times and TV designations will be released at a later time.

Penn State is looking to bounce back from a 4-5 season in 2020 that started 0-5 before the Nittany Lions won four-straight to close out the year. The team opted not to accept a bowl bid and subsequently did not play in the postseason.

The Nittany Lions’ open on the road against a Big Ten team for a second-straight season. Penn State fell in overtime to Indiana to start out the bumpy 2020 campaign. In terms of more normal scheduling, Penn State’s road meeting against the Badgers is the first Week 1 road contest since traveling to face Pitt in 2016.

Penn State has won four-straight games against Wisconsin and two of its last three contests in Madison.
