The FBI’s Philadelphia office is asking for the public’s help identifying a person accused of spray painting pro-Palestine graffiti and setting a fire outside a Department of Defense contractor building in State College.

The investigation involves two incidents that occurred in June at the building on Science Park Road, according to a release on Tuesday.

On June 9, someone spray painted “For the martyrs,” “Escalate 4 Rafah,” and “Free Palestine,” on the side of the building, then tried to enter the facility and fled when confronted by security, the bureau wrote.

The same individual returned in the early morning hours of June 14 and spray painted “Intifada is here,” as well as an inverted red triangle on the side of the building, according to the release. That individual then “doused the area in a flammable liquid,” set it on fire and fled, the FBI wrote. The area where the fire was set included a natural gas pipeline, natural gas generator and a transformer all in close proximity to the building.

Investigators described the suspect as white, between 5-foot-9 and 6-feet tall, with longer blond or light brown hair. The suspect has a shoe size between a men’s 10 and 11 or a women’s 12 and 13, according to the release.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible.
