Police Searching for Driver Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash That Injured Pedestrian in State College

Police are looking to identify the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian in downtown State College.

The crash happened at about 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, when the driver of the vehicle pictured above struck the pedestrian at the intersection of East Beaver Avenue and Locust Lane. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and the driver fled the scene in the vehicle, police wrote a media release on Wednesday.

The driver was described as a white, college-aged female with blonde hair. A “KD” sticker was displayed in the rear window of the vehicle.

Anyone with information about the driver or owner of the vehicle involved is asked to contact the State College Police Department at 814-234-7150, by email or by submitting an anonymous tip online.
