Police Investigating Theft of Nearly $4,000 in Items from Benner Pike Walmart

State College police are looking for two people they say stole thousands of dollars worth of items from Walmart, 373 Benner Pike.

Two men, pictured below, are suspected of taking $3,894 in electronics, clothing, $500 gift cards and cash 6:48 and 7:18 p.m. on Jan. 15. According to police, the men “distracted a cashier and tampered with their transactions in order to obtain the items without paying.”

They were last seen leaving the Walmart parking lot in a light-colored Dodge Charger.

Anyone who may have information about the theft is asked to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email or by submitting an anonymous tip online.
