One of Penn State’s departed offensive weapons has found his new home. Harrison Wallace III, who led all Nittany Lion wide receivers with 720 receiving yards this past season, has committed to Ole Miss, he announced on Instagram on Sunday.
Wallace was an integral member of Penn State’s offense over each of the past three seasons. In four years with the Nittany Lions, Wallace tallied 1,221 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns.
He is one of three Penn State scholarship wide receivers to enter the transfer portal this cycle. Omari Evans announced his departure on Tuesday, right before Wallace, and Tyler Johnson has signed with East Carolina.
With Wallace and Evans gone, the Nittany Lions are set to enter the 2025 season with just three wide receivers — Liam Clifford, Tyseer Denmark and Anthony Ivey — who recorded catches for Penn State this past season.
There are, however, reinforcements on their way. Kyron Hudson, formerly of USC, and ex-Troy Trojan Devonte Ross are two wide receivers Penn State has brought in from the transfer portal.
