Penn State football’s week three matchup at Auburn will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 from Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The game will air live on CBS, according to an announcement from Penn State Athletics on Wednesday morning.
This is the first confirmed kickoff time on the Nittany Lions’ 2022 schedule. While it was announced in February that Penn State’s opening week matchup against Purdue is slated for Thursday night football, the exact time of the game has yet to be released.
The Auburn game will be the 26th all-time appearance for Penn State on CBS. The Nittany Lions’ last game on the network came on September 16, 2000, when the team lost 12-0 to Pitt.
Penn State took care of business in the first game of the home-and-home series with Auburn. When the two teams faced off at Beaver Stadium, the Nittany Lions outlasted the Tigers 28-20 in the 2021 White Out.
