Penn State football now has its complete 2024 schedule following a conference-wide release by the Big Ten on Thursday afternoon. The 2024 season marks the first of a new-look Big Ten following the additions of UCLA, USC, Washington and Oregon to the conference as full members.

Penn State will play the first of the new member institution on Oct. 5 when it hosts UCLA.

In addition, Penn State will host Illinois on Sept. 28, marking the first Big Ten season opener played at home since the 2015 season. Penn State’s schedule will see two bye weeks in 2024 with the first coming on Sept. 14 in the season’s third week, while the second will fall on Oct. 19, a week after a long road trip to USC. The Nittany Lions will have late season road games in back-to-back weeks as well, heading to Purdue and Minnesota in November.

Penn State will face a marquee slate of games at home in 2024 with Ohio State and Washington coming to Beaver Stadium in back to back weeks. The Nittany Lions will not face newcomer Oregon in 2024 but will face the Ducks in 2025 at Beaver Stadium before making a return trip to Eugene in 2027.
