Penn State has received the kickoff time for its game against Washington next weekend. The Nittany Lions will, in fact, play a night White Out game in 2024, scheduled for an 8 p.m. EDT kickoff.

But there’s a catch. This game will broadcast exclusively to a streaming audience on Peacock, the team announced Saturday night.

The potential for a 3:30 p.m. start on CBS is averted, but there could be concern around exclusively streaming what is typically Penn State’s pinnacle production.

This will mark the Nittany Lions’ first exclusively-streamed game this season and second home prime time start. The first was a 21-7 win over Illinois, which James Franklin deemed an unofficial White Out.

Last year’s national runner-up, the Huskies have struggled throughout the 2024 season, the first under head coach Jedd Fisch. Washington was 4-4 heading into its matchup with USC on Saturday night.

Penn State will be in search of a dominating win to regain momentum and College Football Playoff hopes after a 20-13 loss to No. 4 Ohio State on Saturday.

“We gotta do a great job making sure we come in tomorrow, make the corrections, but then Sunday night, we gotta flush it and move on to Washington,” Franklin said. “We can’t allow one loss to turn into two.”
