Penn State has received the kickoff time for its Oct. 12 matchup at USC.
The Nittany Lions, currently ranked No. 7 in the country, and the No. 11-ranked Trojans will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EDT (12:30 p.m. local) in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The television broadcast is set for CBS.
The game will mark Penn State’s first road affair since its season opener at West Virginia. It will also mark the team’s fourth early afternoon kickoff (local time) in six outings this season.
USC has found early success in its debut season in the Big Ten. The Trojans currently own a 3-1 record with wins over No. 13 LSU, Utah State and Wisconsin. Their lone loss came by a close margin at No. 10 Michigan two weeks ago.
Penn State and USC have met 10 previous times, but this will be their first as Big Ten foes. They last faced off int post-2016 Rose Bowl, a 52-49 Trojans victory.
The Nittany Lions will get their first crack at a newly initiated Big Ten opponent this weekend when they face UCLA at noon on Saturday in Beaver Stadium.
