Penn State has canceled all in-person activities and most work from 4 a.m. on Thursday through 5 a.m. on Friday because of forecasted snow and ice.
All final exams scheduled for Thursday will be held in the same location at new times on Friday and Saturday. The updated times are as follows:

Individual instructors may choose to offer exams asynchronously. Students living on campus who have their final exams rescheduled will have their move-out date extended.
The university is asking faculty to be “flexible” with student conflicts, which could include planned departures and graduation. Fall commencement ceremonies are scheduled for 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The HUB-Robeson Center will remain open Thursday but all other scheduled in-person activities are canceled. Employees that perform essential services and those who work at the Applied Research Laboratory are expected to report to work. All others should remain home until normal campus activity resumes.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Centre County from from 1 a.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday. According to AccuWeather, the storm is expected to bring 3 to 6 inches of snow and up to a quarter-inch of ice to the State College area.
