As THON Weekend chugs along, there’s plenty going on For The Kids outside of the Bryce Jordan Center.

The THON Explorers Program invited Four Diamonds-supported pediatric cancer patients and their families to join the Penn State football team in activities at Holuba Hall, the team’s indoor training facility.

Take a look at some moments captured by Onward State’s photographers.

Activities included parachute games, four-way volleyball, corn hole, tricycle races and more.

Ice cream, face painting, giant Jenga and karaoke were among other offerings at Holuba, and it was surprisingly difficult to tell whether the kids or football players were the bigger Swifties.

Many players invited kids to run routes with them, and they were impressive. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that we see some of these folks take on Beaver Stadium in the not-so-distant future…and not as spectators.

Light refreshments were provided for the kids, many of whom seemed to be more partial to the Creamery ice cream than anything else. As the event came to a close, the families and team gathered for a group picture before breaking up to sign autographs.
