With THON’s annual 46-hour dance marathon in support of families battling pediatric cancer coming up this weekend, a fundraiser designed to spread awareness for those who have lost their hair due to cancer returned to the HUB-Robeson Center on Monday.
Students stopped by the HUB to have their heads shaved For The Kids in the Penn State student-run philanthropy’s annual “No Hair Don’t Care” event.

Participants paid $10 to get a new cut, with the proceeds going to an organization or independent dancer couple of their choice.

Friends gathered to capture the transformation and provide support.

It was all smiles as volunteer stylists sheared off students’ locks.

That fresh-cut feel!

Students could pose with their new ‘do in snazzy THON headbands at a festive photo wall.
THON Weekend 2023 takes place from 6 p.m. Friday through 4 p.m. Sunday at the Bryce Jordan Center as the culmination of year-round efforts to raise funds for the Four Diamonds at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and provide emotional support to pediatric cancer patients and their families.
