Town&Gown will continue to publish our monthly community magazine, in print and online, throughout the current virus crisis.
This issue of the magazine contains many stories about how our local community is coming together to overcome this challenge. We hope you find it thoughtful and inspiring. This is an edition that you will want to share with friends and family.
Over the past weeks, many local businesses have been closed due to state mandate. Because of this, we have been forced to temporarily reduce our quantity and reset our distribution locations. Town&Gown is currently available throughout Centre County at businesses that remain open, such as grocery stores, convenience stores, pharmacies, and more. We have experienced a large increase in demand at these locations. Our distribution team will be restocking these locations throughout the month to be sure that you have access to Town&Gown. When this crisis passes, we will resume distribution to our regular locations and reopened business partners.
Remaining open as an essential business has allowed Town&Gown to continue our mission of providing the community with news and information. It is truly an honor to serve a community such as ours during these trying times. Town&Gown has been a positive and supportive member of our community for nearly 55 years. We know how hard this crisis has been on you, our readers. It has been hard on us, too. We share your uncertainty, frustrations, and fears. We also share your hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow. We all just want things to return to normal.
During this time, most of our staff is working from home. With modern technology, we can continue publication, uninterrupted, through the dedication and creativity of our team. However, we are only able to do this with the continued support of our local advertising partners and community organizations.
