Applications now open for the 2024 Children and Youth Sidewalk Sale and Banner Exhibition and Competition

STATE COLLEGE — Applications are now open for the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts Children and Youth Sidewalk Sale and Banner Exhibition and Competition.

For children looking to develop their artistic and entrepreneurial potential, the 2024 Children and Youth Sidewalk Sale will take place on Wednesday, July 10, as a part of the 58th Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts.

Sponsored by Penn State Federal Credit Union, the sale welcomes artists ages 8 through 18 who live in or have relatives in Blair, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Huntingdon, Mifflin and Union counties.

The Banner Exhibition and Competition is one of the signature events of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts. Both past and present banners will be displayed over the festival route to add color and movement to the event.

The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts looks forward to showcasing the talent and creativity of Pennsylvania’s artists, young and old. Applications can be found on the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts website, arts-festival.com, and must be submitted by Friday, June 14.
