Bellefonte Easter Egg hunt set for April 16

BELLEFONTE — In conjunction with Historic Bellefonte Inc., the Bellefonte Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Talleyrand Park on April 16 with sponsor activities beginning at 1 p.m. and the egg gathering promptly at 2 p.m.

All children 12 years and under are invited to attend. Games, refreshments, a bounce house and a visit from the Easter Bunny are planned for this event, along with 15,000 Easter eggs.

The children are divided into age groups throughout the park. Extra special eggs with coupons for Easter baskets, gift cards and prizes are included in the days’ festivities. There will be a Chocolate Walk by Downtown Bellefonte Inc. businesses before and after the egg hunt. The Crestside Terrace, Centre Care, local clubs, churches, businesses, local fire companies and volunteers will supply the candy-filled plastic eggs and prizes.

There is no charge and no registration for this event, it will be held snow, rain or shine.
