STATE COLLEGE — All persons touched by cancer are invited to join a special event from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, April 10, at Pine Hall Lutheran Church, 1760 W. College Ave., State College.
This is a celebration. Cancer Survivors’ Association is a nonprofit that serves people in Centre County with all types of cancer. The organization provides Totes of Hope, has a support group and holds special events.
The celebration theme is a “slumber party,” with activities centered on sleep wellness, plus trivia games, arts and crafts and more.
Penn students in recreation, parks and tourism management are assisting in planning and conducting this event.
The event is for all ages. Refreshments will be served.
