STATE COLLEGE — PA CareerLink and the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County are partnering to host a free job fair for the community, featuring more than 75 local employers, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at C3 Sports in State College.
The career fair will feature a wide variety of employment opportunities from entry-level to experienced, hybrid positions, remote positions, full-time positions and part-time positions.
Many different industries will also be featured at the event, including health, government, public safety, construction, trades, retail, manufacturing, technology and much more.
“We’re proud to host this event alongside PA CareerLink to help connect local talent with real opportunities,” Greg Scott, president and CEO of CBICC, said.
“By bringing together some of the area’s most influential employers in one place, this event will help job seekers take meaningful steps toward their next career move and support the continued growth of Centre County’s economy.”
Organizers from the event remarked that the collaboration from the career fair will allow it to become the largest annual hiring event in Centre County while strengthening workforce connections and supporting local economic growth.
“Partnering with CBICC on this Spring Job Fair has helped us expand the reach and impact of the services we offer to both employers and job seekers in Centre County,” April Williams, business consultant at PA CareerLink, said. “We’re committed to helping individuals find meaningful work and to helping businesses grow their teams with qualified local talent.”
