STATE COLLEGE — Women United, formerly known as the Women’s Leadership Group, of Centre County United Way is accepting grant applications from 501(c)(3) organizations in Centre County that provide programs focused on improving the lives of women and children in our area.
Applications for the current funding cycle must be received electronically as email attachments no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, May 3.
Women United established the grant program for local agencies that provide long-term impact, significant outcomes and a collaborative approach to program services. Funding may be used to purchase equipment, expand programming or as seed money for a new program or venture.
Members of Women United are women who donate to the Centre County United Way general campaign at the leadership level and have agreed to make an additional contribution to fund the Women United grant program.
