UNIONVILLE — A 78-year-old Centre County woman was found dead following a house fire that occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, along Apple Street in the Unionville Borough.
According to her obituary, Patricia “Patti” Langham treasured her family, was an avid reader, loved to shop and was well-known for her cooking and baking skills. She’s an alumnus of Bald Eagle Area High School, graduating in 1964 before becoming a licensed practical nurse and then a stay-at-home mom.
Milesburg, Bellefonte, Walker Township, Pleasant Gap, Snow Shoe, Howard, Boalsburg, Port Matilda, Alpha fire companies, Centre LifeLink and Port Matilda Mount Nittany Health EMS were dispatched to the scene.
The Centre County Coroner’s Office says the case is under investigation by its office, PSP Rockview and the PSP Fire Marshall.
