STATE COLLEGE — State College police informed that a man wanted for stalking and assault charges in State College was arrested on Friday, Dec. 6, in South Daytona Beach, Florida.
Michael A. Lloyd, 43, had four warrants out for his arrest, two of which were by State College police, who shared a public notice on Tuesday, Nov. 26, that stated that they held “an active stalking warrant” and were “seeking assistance in locating him.” At the time, Lloyd was last spotted in Centre County on Thursday, Nov. 14, and police advised the public not to approach him if they saw him.
The initial warrant was for alleged stalking, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person in College Township. The second warrant was obtained on Wednesday, Dec. 4, by State College police for stalking a apprehension avoidance.
State College police and the Centre County District Attorney’s Office alongside the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security were a part of the search for Lloyd. He is currently being detained in Florida at the Volusia County Correctional Facility.
