The State College Area High School’s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is hosting their First Annual FBLA Pickleball Tournament fundraiser, Lobbing For Leadership, on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at Nittany Valley Sports Centre in State College, PA. The tournament will start at 8:00 am and end at 3:00 pm.
This event is being organized for the community by FBLA and members of the State College pickleball community. We will have an online silent auction for paddles, gift cards, Penn State basketball games and more. Players and spectators can also bid on items in person the day of the tournament. The Centre’s snack bar will be open and some refreshments will be provided by local businesses. Medals will be awarded for 1st-3rd place in each division. FBLA is a competitive business club that prepares students for careers in leadership and business through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs. Each year, we attend regional, state, and national competitions to apply our business knowledge, learn from industry leaders, and participate in various leadership, career preparation, and professional development workshops.
