A spooky cavern boat tour given at Penns Cave, using only glow sticks and spotlights to lead visitors through. Appropriate for all ages – no blood or gore. Reservations are required.
Ages 2-12 – $ 6.00
13-Adult – $11.00
Complimentary hot apple cider will be given out to guests and while supplies last, each couple, family or group will be given one of their hand painted pumpkins.

Penn State School of Theatre presents, “We Are Dead State”, a walking tour that re-creates haunted versions of various campus locations. They include: Berkey Creamery, University Health Services, the Lion Shrine, and many more! This event is geared towards teens and older, as it may be a bit too frightening for the younger crowd!

“Recently made known to millions by the cinematic production staring Johnny Depp, this comedic thriller takes you back to 19th century London where Sweeney Todd seeks revenge on a malicious judge for destroying his life and family. Sweeney’s cutthroat view of the world sends him into a life of revulsion and slaughter, paired with a business relationship with immoral baker Mrs. Lovett who uses the results of his macabre revenge in her recipes to make ‘the tastiest meat pies in London.’ ”

In conjunction with the “The Art of Tea” gallery exhibit, learn to read tealeaves by candlelight – visitors are encouraged to wear their costumes! $10 per person; must call ahead to reserve a spot.
Teacher and director of The Creative Oasis, Rowan Rose says “Since it’s so close to Halloween, this October class will have a bit more theatrics and spooky candle light and costumes.” There will also be another class held on November 21st, 2009, Rose says “[this one] will be at noon and have a different tone.”

Annually the spookiest haunted house in State College, Acacia Fraternity it doing it again! “And its going to be better than ever!” says organizer, and brother of Acacia, Chris Meyers.
This is their 4th annual Haunted House. It is also Acacia’s 100-year anniversary, making the house EXTRA haunted!
