A new bus route launching on Thursday will give central Pennsylvania residents an opportunity to catch a ride to Atlantic City, New Jersey.
OurBus will operate the service running through State College, Harrisburg, King of Prussia and Philadelphia to Atlantic City, with connections to the southern Jersey Shore at Galloway, the company said in a news release on Monday.
“Students and residents of central PA have been waiting for a clean, fast and economical way to travel to Atlantic City and their favorite beach towns in the southern Garden State – and OurBus offers them a new, customer-friendly option,” Numaan Akram, CEO of Rally OurBus, said in a statement. “We look forward to providing travelers with superb service that will make their journeys easier, more relaxing and more convenient.”
The route, which OurBus called “the first and only direct bus service from Central Pennsylvania to Atlantic City and the southern Jersey Shore,” will begin at the Bus Terminal at 152 N. Atherton St. and will include pickups in Harrisburg (Harrisburg Transportation Center, corner of South 4th Street and Chestnut Street), King of Prussia (Park and Ride at 170 King of Prussia Road), Philadelphia International Airport (Terminal C, Zone 8 arrivals) and Philadelphia (northeast corner of South Broad Street and Pattison Avenue near NRG Station).
Service will end in Atlantic City at three casino locations: Tropicana, Caesars and Resorts.

One-way fare from State College to Atlantic City and points on the southern Jersey Shore will be $89 and trips can be booked online.
