Bethany Faye Workman Lowery went home to be with her Lord on October 11, 2024.

She was born December 24, 1955, at the Lock Haven Hospital, the first born of Arthur and Iris (Strunk) Workman Jr. who preceded her in death.

On April 20, 1996, she married Michael Allen Lowery who survives at home. They had 28 years together.

Along with her husband she is survived by two daughters. Carrie Ann (Bradley) Herman of Lock Haven and Rachelle Lynn Lott and her companion Ruben Oppermann of Kewaskum, WI. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Zackery David (Megan) Tuttle of Hardeeville, SC, Zander Malcolm Tuttle of Lock Haven, Courtney Faye (Joseph Reisinger) and Jacob Schutz; 3 great grandchildren, Carson Lee, Oliver James, Evelyn Ann and Iris Reisinger all of Kenosha, WI. Also surviving is one sister, Holly Michele (William) Young of Beech Creek, PA and two brothers, Mark Allen Workman and Timothy Zane (Heather) Workman of Philipsburg, PA; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a lifelong member of Howard Christian Church and attended Watermark Church in later years. She graduated from Bald Eagle Area High School in 1973.

Bethany worked numerous jobs in the electronics and QC field.

She loved spending time with her family at home or on the many adventures they went on. She loved them all more than they could ever know. She also loved to read and was a huge Beatles fan with George Harrison being her favorite. She was a Steelers fan and collected peacocks, lighthouses, and when she was younger, she also enjoyed objects that moved like wind spinners or kinetic toys. Other interests were drawing, music, and playing the keyboard. She loved going to the movies saying, “she enjoyed the loud theater and paying too much for the popcorn and drinks.”

Her most ardent wish was that her children and families would have a personal relationship with her Lord, Jesus Christ.

There will be a 2-hour viewing from 6-8 immediately followed by a service, officiated by her cousin, Phil Strunk, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home, 135 W Main St. Howard, PA, 16841.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family, the Wounded Warriors Project, the Bellefonte Soup Kitchen or the Lock Haven SPCA
