Mark S. Soster, 60, of Philipsburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on August 3, 1961, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Roy S. and Helen (Mehallow) Soster.
Mark was a 1979 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He was a machine operator for Glenn O. Hawbaker, retiring in 2016. He was a member of the Queen of Archangel Parish Chapel in Snow Shoe.
Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and kayaking. He loved to be in the outdoors. He liked spending time with his dog, Bella. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and Penn State Football fan.
Mark is survived by his girlfriend, Christal Beightol of Philipsburg, two brothers: Michael Soster and his wife, Gina, of Snow Shoe and David Soster of Pine Glen; one sister, Brenda Jendrisak and her husband, Greg, of North Carolina, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Mark was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Soster and two sisters: Joyce Soster and Melody Benzie.
