Clarence L. "Breezy" Dean, 80, of Pennsylvania Furnace, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born Aug. 17, 1929, in Pennsylvania Furnace, he was a son of the late James Albert Dean and Alice Edna (Snook) Dean.
He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Evergreen Farms in Spruce Creek for 30 years. He was a member of the Tyrone Hookies and the Path Gap Hunting Camp of Spruce Creek.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Dean, of Tipton, and Brian Dean, of Tyrone; four grandchildren, Michael, Kelly, Clayton and Clara; and a brother, Clair Dean, of Pennsylvania Furnace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Wilber; a sister, Cora; and a grandson, Brian. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, 1618 Ridge Road, Warriors Mark.
