Ron H. Fultz, 79, of Centre Hall; died Friday, December 9, 2016 at Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana.

He was born February 5, 1937 in Milroy, PA; a son of the late Samuel Raymond and Nellie Mae Hackett Fultz.

He was married to Nancy L. Hagan who preceded him in death on August 11, 2006.

Ron graduated from Centre Hall-Potter High School in 1955 and attended Lock Haven Teacher’s College, now Lock Haven University,

During the Berlin Crisis from 1960 to 1962, Ron served in the U. S. Army, earning a Good Conduct Medal, and went on to serve two years of active duty with the Reserves and two years inactive reserve duty.

From 1962 to 1969, He was employed by Beaver Brothers Bakery, which later became American Beauty Bakery. From 1969 until his retirement in 1992 Ron worked for Luse Distributing in Centre Hall as a Middlesworth Route Salesman.

Ron’s memberships included St. John Lutheran Church in Farmers Mills, American Legion Post 779 Centre Hall, and the White Deer Hunting Lodge.

An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoy spending time at his camp and hiking in the mountains. He also enjoyed woodworking and lawn maintenance.

Surviving Ron is his daughter Carol M. Fultz and a son Glenn Fultz and his wife Vickie all of Centre Hall, two grandchildren, Tyler John Fultz (Cassandra) and Marley Elizabeth Fultz; a great granddaughter Layla Rae Fultz; and two brothers, M. Ardell Fultz (Gladys) of Palm Bay FL, and Bradley K. Fultz (Darlene) of Rebersburg.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ron was preceded in death by two brothers Dean and Willard Fultz.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
