Patricia A. “Patty” Hadden, 55, of Centre Hall, peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Born on March 15, 1965 in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Patrick G. and Letitia M. (Bales) Scott. On September 18, 2011 in their back yard, she married Allen Hadden, who survives at home.

Patty earned her GED from Mercer County Community College in New Jersey. She was a waitress at many establishments within State College, including Denny’s, throughout the years.

Patty was of the Christian faith. She liked to travel and loved her cruises. She was never one to turn down the opportunity to go shopping. She took pride in her appearance and always had her nails done on a regular basis with the same nail technicians for the last 15 years. She would affectionally refer to herself as “Princess Patty” and she earned that title with a smile. Above all things, her family was her pride, joy, and true love. You could count on her to make you laugh and smile no matter what she was going through. People were drawn to her because of her larger than life personality.

Along with her husband, Patty is survived by three sons, Jason J. Scott and his fiancé, Daizy, of Huntingdon, Christopher M. Scott of Allentown, and Joseph A. Jenkins and his girlfriend, Leasia, of Huntingdon; nine grandchildren; one brother, Patrick Scott, Jr. of Florida; and two sisters, Christine Papp and Tina Schellammer, both of New Jersey.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 6-8pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc, 228 S Pennsylvania Ave, Centre Hall.

Following CDC recommendations, social distancing is encouraged and face coverings will be required at all services.
