Ricky Alan Alexander, 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Mount Nittany Hospital. Born on October 5, 1953 in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Merrill and Elva Alexander. Ricky graduated from Bald Eagle Area High School in 1971 and from the Centre County Vocational School where he earned a certification in drafting. He was an avid baseball player in his younger years playing for the Port Matilda Porter’s Team and the Julian Team for Centre County Baseball League. He was a member of a variety of community groups and always enjoyed socializing. He loved driving truck and selling insurance. In his most recent role, he drove the Amish and enjoyed spending time with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his eldest brother John H. Alexander (Barbara) and is survived by his sister Holly Alexander Krebs (Larry) of Lancaster and brother Terry W. Alexander (Carol) of Julian. In addition to his siblings, he is survived by several nieces and nephews and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held for friends and family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributes may be made in memory of Ricky to a charity of the donor’s choice.
