Penn State will launch online student football season ticket sales on Monday, July 19. Sales throughout the week will follow the traditional model of seniority, giving each class a chance to get their passes each day.
Season tickets for students this year are $239 — the same price as in 2019. Each pass will give students access to Penn State’s seven 2021 home games, including matchups against Michigan and Auburn.
Ticket sales will launch on the following schedule:
- Graduate students: Monday, July 19 @ 7 a.m.
- Seniors: Tuesday, July 20 @ 7 a.m.
- Juniors: Wednesday, July 21 @ 7 a.m.
- Sophomores: Thursday, July 22 @ 7 a.m.
- Freshmen: Friday, July 23 @ 7 a.m.
During the sale, students can also purchase this year’s to-be-released White Out shirts and join the Student Nittany Lion Club for $35.
Penn State will email students by July 7 with information to participate in this season’s ticket sales, including guides to purchasing tickets and using mobile ticketing. Sales are open to only full-time students.
As in 2019, student tickets (and all fans’ tickets, for that matter) will be digitized. A full guide to Penn State’s mobile ticketing system is available online.
The athletic department announced on June 1 that Beaver Stadium and other venues will allow for full capacity fan attendance this fall after COVID-19 restrictions prohibited all but a small number of player family members.
Penn State football’s season will begin at noon on Saturday, September 4, with a road trip to Wisconsin. Non-conference matchups against Ball State, Auburn, and Villanova will follow before Big Ten play rolls around in early October.
