Slipknot is known for its energetic shows and aggressive, attention-getting music. The band rose to fame with its 1999 self-titled album followed by its 2001 record “Iowa.” Slipknot has been nominated for 10 Grammy awards, winning once in 2006 for “Best Metal Performance” with “Before I Forget.”
The band will release its highly anticipated seventh album in 2022 after debuting their first new music in two years at Knotfest Los Angeles in 2021.
Slipknot’s tour is one of several acts to announce stops at the BJC this week. Sesame Street Live! and WWE’s Road to Wrestlemania will both make stops at the arena in March.
