A pair restaurants currently located in Westerly Parkway Plaza are teaming up in a new location off of North Atherton Street.

Fuji & Jade Garden, 418 Westerly Parkway, and nearby My Thai, 422 Westerly Parkway, are moving to 289 Northland Center in Ferguson Township. The space was previously occupied by Ni Hao Asian Cuisine, which closed in 2018.

A sign at the Northland Center location says Fuji & Jade Garden and My Thai are ‘coming soon.’ A sign outside Fuji & Jade’s current location in State College says it will soon be moving to Northland Center.

No date was provided and the restaurants’ owners could not be reached for comment on Wednesday.

Fuji & Jade Garden, a Chinese and Japanese restaurant offering hibachi and sushi, opened in 2005 and My Thai, which offers a range of Thai cuisine, opened in 2010.

Both were among six local restaurants targeted in a 2014 federal immigration raid. Fuji & Jade’s former owner, Jing Mei Jiang, was identified as the ringleader of a conspiracy to employ undocumented workers. He pleaded guilty in 2015 and was sentenced in 2016 to 15 months in prison.
