Walk in chess club at the Bellefonte Library. Open to children, teens, and adults. All skill levels are welcome. A chess instructor is available to either teach guests how to play or to help improve their play. There is no need to register, just drop in!
During this program, babies and toddlers (up to 3 years old) will sit with their caregivers and engage in singing songs, saying rhymes, reading short books, and socializing with other families in the community. This program is perfect for lap sitters and those who aren’t quite ready to sit down for a full storytime yet.
Storytime begins with 4-5 books, usually based on a weekly theme. Between books, we will sing songs and get wiggles out before continuing with the program.
